Help the Bees is an interactive chilren’s storybook
that uses origami and AR to immerse the reader in play
The Royal College of Art hosts a school-wide challenge in which students are put in interdisciplinary groups and design towards
a particular theme and sub-theme. 2020’s Grand Challenge theme was safety, and my group was tasked with designing for truth.
Climate change presents an existential threat that was of particular concern to us.
We designed for children, as they are the inheritors of the future and ultimately those we want to safeguard most.
Through education and play, we addressed how children could better engage to preserve the natural environments around them.
